Nashville man charged with child sexual exploitation after cyber detectives uncover 400+ explicit videos, police say
Detectives uncovered more than 400 videos of girls downloaded between February and May 2026.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man was arrested following an online investigation into sexually explicit videos of children connected to an account in Nashville.
According to an arrest affidavit from the Metro Nashville Police Department, a cybertip from Verizon’s cloud storage provider was made on February 4 about child sexual abuse material being uploaded to a phone number in the city.
MNPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) detectives opened an investigation into the material and learned that the number belonged to 43-year-old Nelson Boren Jr., who is a familiar name within the department, according to the affidavit.
A search warrant of Boren’s downloaded content uncovered more than 400 videos of sexually explicit acts involving “prepubescent females” and adult men, the affidavit states. The content appeared to be downloaded between February and May of this year.
Boren was arrested on Tuesday, July 14, and charged with possessing over 100 items depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor. He posted a $50,000 bond several hours later.
