Nashville airport remains focused on travel after filing of name-change bill

The bill was filed by Rep. Todd Warner (R-Chapel Hill) ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Nashville International Airport says that it’s focused on providing “exceptional travel experiences for our community and our passengers” as a Tennessee lawmaker seeks a name change at BNA.

In a statement sent on Monday, BNA touted its “globally recognized brand with a reputation that extends across the world.”

Last week, Rep. Todd Warner (R-Chapel Hill) filed the bill ahead of President Donald Trump’s inauguration. House Bill 0217 was filed on Friday. It moves to change the name of Nashville’s airport to the Trump International Airport.
