Nashville airport sets new travel record

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Nashville International Airport (BNA) was bustling as a reported record amount of travelers passed through this weekend.

BNA reported that on Sunday, Oct. 6, 46,399 people were screened through the checkpoint, setting a new record.

The number of all arriving, layover, and departing passengers totaled 107,000, according to the announcement.

BNA said the Fall Break period is typically the airport’s busiest travel period of the year.
