Southwest
New flights, including 2 nonstop international destinations added to BNA: Ever wanted to liftoff to Indianapolis, Cabo San Lucas and Punta Cana from the Nashville International Airport?
Well, now you can. BNA announced Southwest Airlines has expanded its air service with three new nonstop routes.
Southwest expanding flight service at Nashville airport: Southwest Airlines announced its extended flight schedule into the start of June 2025 on Monday.
With this extended schedule, some new destinations will be available from the Nashville International Airport.
Beginning April 8, 2025, service will commence between Nashville and the following cities:
- Albuquerque, N.M.
- Albany, N.Y.
- Jackson, Miss.
- Memphis, Tenn.
- Providence, R.I.
- Tulsa, Okla.
Nashville airport announces Southwest’s ‘largest ever summer schedule’: The Nashville International Airport has announced Southwest is extending its schedule for summer 2025 from June 5 through Aug. 4, 2025.
“Get ready for Southwest’s largest ever summer schedule at BNA, and book your 2025 summer vacation today,” BNA said.
The extended schedule at BNA includes three new markets, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland (Oregon).
Icelandair
BNA, Icelandair announce nonstop service to Europe: Soon, Nashvillians will be able to take the skies in a nonstop flight to Iceland.
The Nashville International Airport and Icelandair announced the launch of a new seasonal, nonstop international air service between Music City and Reykjavík, Iceland, starting April 10, 2025, five weeks earlier than originally scheduled.
Avelo Airlines
Nonstop flights between Nashville, Central Florida coming in 2025: Avelo Airlines announced a new nonstop service is coming to the Nashville International Airport in 2025.
The new service will operate between BNA and Central Florida’s Lakeland International Airport(LAL), located between Tampa and Orlando, with one-way fares starting at $49.
Avelo announced this route will begin on March 6 with twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays.
4 new nonstop flights announced at Nashville airport: Avelo Airlines announced an expansion of service at the Nashville International Airport with new nonstop flights.
The new exclusive services will be to Charlotte/Concord, North Carolina, Philadelphia/Delaware Valley, Rochester, New York and Wilmington, North Carolina.
Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA)
- Begins April 4, 2025, with twice weekly service on Mondays and Fridays
Philadelphia / Delaware Valley’s Wilmington Airport (ILG)
- Begins May 1, 2025, with twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays
Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC)
- Begins April 3, 2025, with twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays
Coastal North Carolina’s Wilmington International Airport (ILM)
- Begins April 3, 2025, with twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays
Frontier Airlines
Nashville airport expanding service to Orlando via Frontier Airlines: The Nashville International Airport is continuing its growth with a new nonstop route being added to its vast arsenal.
BNA announced that Frontier Airlines will be offering a new nonstop route to Orlando International Airport beginning in March 2025.
Starting March 7, 2025, travelers will be able to fly to the Magic City three times a week. Nashvillians and travelers will be able to have an easy escape to all that Orlando has to offer.
Allegiant Air
Nashville International Airport adds nonstop flight to Louisiana city: Allegiant Air announced a new, nonstop flight from Nashville International Airport (BNA) to Shreveport Regional Airport (SHV) in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The new route begins May 22, 2025. The service will operate seasonally on Thursdays and Sundays.
Air Canada
Air Canada adding flights, expanding service at BNA: Nashville International Airport (BNA) announced expanded service with Air Canada.
Air Canada is introducing a new seasonal service to Vancouver International Airport and is expected to operate three flights per week. This new route will offer travelers easy connecting flights to Japan and Korea.
Additionally, Air Canada will add more flights to Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. Now, planes will fly into Montreal twice every day, up from four times per week in the summer of 2024.
Flights into Toronto Pearson International Airport will continue year-round, according to BNA. Air Canada currently operates two flights to Toronto every day.
BNA said Air Canada provides more daily flights than any other Canadian airline, connecting travelers through Nashville to more than 145 destinations across six continents.
The new expanded service to Canada is scheduled to begin on May 1, 2025.
Aer Lingus
BNA adding nonstop flights to Dublin in spring 2025: Nashville International Airport (BNA) will soon offer direct flights to Ireland.
BNA unveiled its new partnership with Aer Lingus, Ireland’s flagship airline, which will launch a new nonstop air service from Nashville to Dublin in April 2025.
Air travelers be able to fly aboard an Airbus A321XLR on the 8.5-hour route four times a week, with flights available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, according to the announcement.
Aer Lingus also offers numerous connecting flights out of Dublin to 22 European cities, including London, Rome, Paris, and Berlin.
