Fun weekend events set to take place across the Midstate. Here’s the weather to expect
There’s a lot going on across Middle Tennessee this weekend.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Humidity will hold strong for both Saturday and Sunday.
Many fun events are taking place in the Midstate this weekend. Both days should be about the same in terms of heat. Saturday has a slightly better chance for rain than Sunday.
If you like good eats, head to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church on Friday, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. for the Bethlehem Fish Fry.
The church is midway between downtown Franklin and Grassland, along Hillsboro Road. There could be an isolated shower or storm that affects part of it, but generally, the weather should work out if you can deal with heat and humidity.

The Nashville Sounds play all weekend at First Horizon Park. All games are against the Norfolk Riptides during the evening. Saturday’s game gets underway at 6:35 p.m. It’ll be hot with a low chance for an isolated shower or storm.

The weekend will be stacked with Indycar racing at the Nashville Super Speedway. Cars will run all day, Saturday.
Sunday afternoon is loaded with racing, too, before the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix kicks off at 4:30 p.m. That finale will host just a 20% rain chance. Dress for the heat and hydrate well through the day if you go.
