First Alert Weather Day: Gusty winds along with snow showers
Accumulating snow is likely along parts of the Cumberland Plateau overnight.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A First Alert Weather Day continues overnight for gusty winds and snow showers.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY - TONIGHT:
The First Alert Weather Day continues overnight for gusty wind and then snow showers. Although winds are diminishing, we will still have gusts of 20-30 mph.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY until 6 am tomorrow for the Cumberland Plateau. There, a dusting to 1″ of snow is likely by morning. Isolated spots may receive as much as 2″ of snow.
A few snow showers will be possible then, through the overnight. The Cumberland Plateau will receive minor a snowfall accumulation by morning, generally a dusting to 1″. Isolated spots may receive a little more than that.
Any snow showers will end around sunrise on the Plateau. Temperatures there will register in the upper 20s. Meanwhile, most of the rest of the Midstate will have lows in the low to mid 30s.
