Cheekwood Gardens welcomes a new season with ‘fall magic’ and 100,000 pumpkins at 6-week festival
Cheekwood Harvest will feature a marigold river, pumpkin village, live music and more.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Fall starts next week and so does harvest season at Cheekwood Estate and Gardens.
The botanical site announced that its Cheekwood Harvest event opens September 19, bringing “fall magic” to the six-week festival.

Cheekwood said that during the festival, the 55-acre site “transforms into a seasonal wonderland.”
Among the transformations are a marigold river of more than 2,500 orange, red and yellow flowers that runs from the Bradford Robertson Color Garden to Arboretum Lawn. The marigolds lead to a pumpkin village with three interactive pumpkin houses.
There will also be various bands and musicians playing live music every weekend through the festival, as well as a display of 100,000 pumpkins and a scarecrow trail with storybook-inspired creations.
Tickets should be reserved in advance on Cheekwood’s website.
