Woman facing charges after deadly crash in Wilson County, THP report says

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A woman could be facing charges after a fatal wreck in Wilson County, according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary report.

On Sunday, December 14, just after 6 p.m., 79-year-old Rex Adams was driving east on Rutledge Lane and turned onto Hartsville Pike.

According to the report, 38-year-old Jessica James was driving south on Hartsville Pike when she hit Adams’ driver’s side door.

James’ car came to a stop in the southbound lane, and Adams’ car came to a stop off the roadway.

Adams died as a result of the crash, according to the report.

James and her 4-year-old passenger were also injured in the crash.
