Turning Point USA announces partnership to launch chapters in Tennessee high schools
Lawmakers and Turning Point USA announced the partnership to launch chapters in every Tennessee high school.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Turning Point USA has entered a partnership to bring chapters to high schools throughout the state of Tennessee.
TPUSA Students announced that the state officially partnered with Club America on Friday, December 12.
State Sen. Jack Johnson also announced the partnership alongside Sen. Marsha Blackburn and conservative activist and athlete Riley Gaines.
“Today, we announced an important partnership and a shared vision to establish Turning Point Club America chapters in every TN high school,” Johnson said.

This partnership comes after the death of the nonprofit’s co-founder, Charlie Kirk. The organization has more than 300 chapters on college campuses across the U.S.
Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.
The announcement of the Tennessee partnership occurred on the same day the state of Texas entered a similar partnership.
“Turning Point USA’s student program exists to educate young people about the importance of limited government, free markets, and freedom. With a presence on over 3,500 college and high school campuses, students are encouraged to be leaders in their communities and educate others on American ideals in a fun and compelling way‚” the organization’s website explains.
