MOUNT PLEASANT, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Maury County.
The TBI said the shooting involved the Maury County Sheriff’s Department. It happened Sunday night in the 900 block of Southport Road in Mount Pleasant.
The 22nd Judicial District Attorney General Brent Cooper requested that the TBI investigate the incident.
No other details have been released. WSMV has contacted Cooper and the Maury County Sheriff’s Department for more information.
