NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert on Monday for a man missing out of Nashville.
Joseph Derosa, 77, was last seen leaving his West Nashville home at about 7 a.m. Monday, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
The 5′9 tall man was wearing a beige jacket, gray t-shirt, hat and yellow and black sunglasses. The state agency estimates he weighs 180 lbs.
“He has recent incidents of being unable to find his way home,” MNPD said.
Authorities believe he may be driving a red 1994 Ford Aerostar with the Tennessee plate 043BNRH.
“Joseph has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return safely without assistance,” the TBI said in a Monday post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
An air tag in Derosa’s vehicle showed that it was in Cooke County at about noon, per MNPD.
Anyone who spots him or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 1-800-TBI-FIND.
