Metro Nashville Police investigating deadly shooting
Officers found a man deceased outside his vehicle in a parking lot off Zermatt Avenue.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Homicide detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting from overnight in Antioch.
MNPD officers were dispatched to 512 Zermatt Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday for reports of a shooting. They arrived and found a man lying on the ground next to his vehicle in the parking lot of the townhome complex.
Officers at the scene reported that the man had been shot and was declared deceased a short time later. His identity was not released.
Detectives are working to piece together what led to the shooting and are developing possible suspects.
