FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY - THROUGH THIS MORNING
A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect until noon today, but things will get warmer this afternoon.
Temperatures this morning are in the teens and single digits, with the wind making it feel even colder
Remember to dress in layers if you have to be outdoors, and try to limit your time outside if possible. Never leave pets outdoors in this bitter cold, and check on your elderly neighbors when the worst of the cold settles in.
Protect your pipes around your home by dripping your faucets and covering any outdoor spigots. You can also open your cabinet doors to allow heat to better circulate and keep your pipes warmer.
Highs today will get back above freezing this afternoon
