Elderly man found dead inside burning home in Nashville
Nashville firefighters entered the house and found the man deceased.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man was found dead inside his Nashville house, which caught fire early Monday morning.
According to Nashville Fire Department personnel at the scene, residents on Tanglewood Drive saw the house on fire and called 911 just after 2 a.m.
Nashville Fire crews responded, but the house was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters made entry into the home and found an elderly man deceased, according to Nashville Fire.
The fire was contained to the one residence, and firefighters spent the next several hours putting out hot spots.
Neighbors told Nashville Fire that the man lived in the house alone.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
