Kentucky public safety vehicle escorting Santa Claus overturns in crash

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WSMV) - A crash involving a Hopkinsville public safety vehicle closed West 7th Street Sunday afternoon, according to WKDZ Radio.
Hopkinsville emergency personnel told WKDZ that a public safety vehicle was hit by another vehicle in front of the Dodge store. The public safety vehicle was escorting Santa Claus, who was riding in a fire truck, at the time of the crash.
Both vehicles left the roadway and the public safety vehicle to overturn, WKDZ said.
There were no injuries in the crash and Santa Claus was able to continue his route around town.
