Second suspect arrested in fatal 2024 shooting in East Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A second suspect has been arrested in connection to a fatal 2024 alleged drug-related shooting, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD said 24-year-old Keshon Woodard has been charged in the fatal 2024 shooting of 22-year-old Demario Hill.

The alleged drug-related shooting happened on Delmas Avenue near Gallatin Pike in November 2024. MNPD alleges that Hill was involved in a narcotics interaction with three men when he was fatally wounded, and the men fled in a pickup truck.

Woodard has been indicted on first degree murder, aggravated assault, and attempted especially aggravated robbery charges.

“Woodard, who was already incarcerated on unrelated domestic violence charges, was booked on the additional charges related to the fatal shooting a short time ago,” MNPD said.

Keylando Green, 23, was arrested and also charged with first degree murder, aggravated assault, and attempted especially aggravated robbery last month in relation to the 2024 shooting. He remains jailed, according to MNPD.
