Pregnant woman located after search of multiple locations around Nashville
Following a search at multiple locations, MNPD reported that the woman was located at a hotel on Thursday morning.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The search for a pregnant woman who went missing after reportedly taking a rideshare to a Nashville apartment complex on Tuesday is over, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).
MNPD reported that 37-year-old Tiffany Moore was located, unharmed, at a hotel on Thursday morning.
Her discovery followed a search sparked by a mysterious rideshare trip and GPS tracking on her phone at multiple locations in the greater Nashville area.
On November 18, officers with the MNPD were called to Twin Oaks Drive and met with Scott Bach, who was trying to locate 37-year-old Tiffany Moore.
In the police report, officers identified Scott Bach as Moore’s husband. Bach later clarified that he is Moore’s boyfriend and the father of their unborn child.
Upon checking his rideshare account, Bach told police that Moore was dropped off at the Twin Oaks Drive apartment.
Bach reportedly told police he heard noises coming from inside the apartment, but no one answered the door when he knocked.
Officers then contacted Moore’s sister, who said she had not heard from her since Moore sent a screenshot to her of her ride. She told police that it was “uncharacteristic” of her sister to go without communication, as they reportedly speak daily.
According to the sister and boyfriend, Moore is currently four months pregnant.
Officers searched the building and knocked on all apartment doors. Residents told police they had not seen anyone matching Moore’s description.
Additionally, officers pinged Moore’s phone, which returned to a Cross Creek Road home.
A person at the home allowed officers to enter the home. Officers didn’t find her, and the resident said she didn’t know anyone by the name of Tiffany Moore.
Police also conducted a hospital and jail check but found no sign of Moore.
Moore was registered in the NCIC as a missing person until she turned up at the hotel on Thursday morning.
Editor’s Note: A police report identified Scott Bach as the missing woman’s husband. However, in an email to WSMV, Bach clarified that he is Tiffany Moore’s boyfriend and the father of her unborn child.
