Two arrested, accused of stealing nearly $10K worth of circuit breakers from Franklin store

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - Two men are in jail after allegedly stealing nearly $10,000 worth of merchandise from a Franklin store last month, according to police.

Franklin Police say Jaiquan Monplaisir, 26, and Jahmeek Bennett, 23, stole 100 circuit breakers from a home improvement store along Mallory Lane on August 11.

The Georgia men are also suspected of other thefts in the region.

FPD said in a social media post shared Wednesday that the pair may have also stolen from home improvement stores in Tennessee and South Carolina, including in Columbia, Tullahoma and Shelbyville.

Monplaisir and Bennett are behind bars at the Williamson County Jail. They are each facing a $7,000 bond for charges of shoplifting and organized retail theft, according to the FPD.
