Police said the homeowner arrived at the home after neighbors called him, saying people were partying in the home and were seen crawling in and out of the windows. The homeowner recorded video of several teens, which helped police identify the 12 arrested.
“There is also evidence from video posts to social media by partygoers,” MNPD said.
Damage to the walls and cabinets, alcohol-soaked floors, and light fixtures ripped from the ceiling add up to an estimated $16,000 in damages.
“Those arrested and charged at Juvenile Court include four 17-year-olds, five 16-year-olds, and three 15-year-olds. At least one more arrest is expected,” MNPD said.
