First look at progress inside new Titans stadium
There are 850 workers at the stadium daily bringing the vision to life.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - For the first time, we are getting a look inside the new Titans stadium. They are one-third of the way done with construction now.
The Titans said the stadium started to take shape at the beginning of 2025. Last month, they started building out the first seating sections.
Construction began one year ago.
“You really are seeing what is the new Titans Stadium now,” project executive Kellen DeCoursey said.
“This is just special to deliver this caliber of a project,” project executive Reggie Polk added.
The new stadium will be about 85 feet taller than the current one, but project executives said the view from the seats will be better regardless of how high up they are. Tyler Baumgardt said he worked on the stadiums for the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons.
“The sightlines and how close everyone is going to be on the field is going to be way better than a lot of the facilities out there,' Baumgardt said. ”Over time, everybody has figured out how to make the fans come in closer."
There are 850 workers at the stadium daily bringing the vision to life. Around 20 to 30 workers are added on each week to keep things on track. ”It means a lot to me, the fact that we are changing the fabric of Nashville and opening up many more doors and opportunities with the work that is taking place for people working on site, what it means for the future of Nashville is just amazing," DeCoursey said.
By the end of 2025, the stadium will be enclosed. At that point, they will begin the finishing touches on the project. “Windows, metal panels, etcetera,” DeCoursey said.
The Titans said they are still on schedule for a February 2027 completion date.
