Unidentified man found shot multiple times in targeted shooting at Antioch park

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Homicide detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department are investigating active leads after a man was found shot multiple times in the parking lot of an Antioch Park Saturday night.

MNPD reports that it was a targeted shooting in the back parking lot of William Pitts Park off Tusculum Road at about 9:45 p.m.

The man, was not discovered until Sunday evening. He was shot multiple times in the driver’s seat of his Infiniti sedan, which was backed into a parking space. Officers discovered a jar of marijuana and a pistol in its holster in the car.

Efforts are underway to identify the victim through his fingerprints through the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
