Teen wanted in deadly shooting of rapper added to most wanted list
The teen was out on bond for the September 2021 murder of Josh Evans, police said.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A teen wanted in the deadly shooting of a rapper in April has been added to Nashville’s most wanted list.
The Metro Nashville Police Department Criminal Warrants Division listed 19-year-old Adrian Cameron Jr. as the No. 1 most wanted suspect for the week of June 19.
Cameron is accused of the robbery-related shooting of 32-year-old Christopher Cheeks (also known as rapper Chris King) in an alleyway outside of a music studio on Hayes Street, according to MNPD.
Police issued the criminal homicide warrant for Cameron after he was identified as one of the three suspects involved in the gunfire that killed Cheeks, of California, and injured a 29-year-old man.
The teen was out on bond for the September 2021 murder of Josh Evans, police said.
