‘NCIS’ actress Rachael Carpani dies at 45, her family says

(Gray News) - Actress Rachael Carpani died at 45, her family said in a statement.
Carpani, an Australian, passed away Dec. 7 following a “long battle” with a chronic illness, according to an Instagram post by her sister, Georgia.
Carpani was featured in several shows including “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “The Rachels,” “If There Be Thorns” and “The Glades.” She also played the lead role in Lifetime’s “Against the Wall.”
She portrayed Jodi Fountain in the Australian series “McLeod’s Daughters” from 2001 to 2009, according to People.
Carpani’s family said Friday that a private funeral will be held.
