Murfreesboro man found unresponsive in vehicle seen driving ‘erratically’ in Christian County
The man was booked on drug possession after deputies found fentanyl in the vehicle on Friday.

OAK GROVE, Ky. (WSMV) - A Murfreesboro man was arrested and faces drug charges after his vehicle was reported for driving erratically in Christian County on Friday.
Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office were alerted to a report of a reckless driver late Friday night and responded to the area of Pembroke Oak Grove Road. Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle’s lights turn on and off and swerving into opposite lanes of traffic.
The vehicle was located parked at a business in the area, and deputies found 26-year-old Jontavios Smith unresponsive behind the wheel. Christian County deputies searched the vehicle and found evidence of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
Smith, who is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (first degree – fentanyl), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
