GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) - Ober Mountain announced on Sunday that it is offering free skiing and snowboarding for Tennessee students throughout the rest of the month.

All Kindergarten through 12th grade students in Tennessee are eligible for a free area lift ticket for snow skiing and snowboarding beginning Monday, Jan. 13.

The promotion will run every Monday through Thursday until the end of the month, the park said.

In order to participate, park officials said parents must accompany their child, present a valid Tennessee-issued ID and bring a completed Minor Liability Form, which can be downloaded here.

The slopes are open from noon until 9 p.m. on weekdays with a night session from 5-9 p.m.
