NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A portion of a highway in Hickman County was shut down after a car caught fire, according to the Hickman County Emergency Management Agency (HCEMA).
Pleasantville Volunteer Fire and Rescue responded to the car fire on Highway 100 West earlier on Tuesday.
Officials said no one was injured as a result of the fire.
Once the blaze was under control, officials said traffic resumed with one lane open, and the car was towed from the scene.
“Special thanks to the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office,” HCEMA said.
