3 toddlers looking for food lead police to parents’ bodies

HOUSTON (KHOU) – A young mother and father are dead in what police describe as a murder-suicide in Houston.
Investigators say the couple’s young children led police to their bodies on Monday.
Neighbors told police that the children – ages 3, 2 and 1 – were found sitting outside an apartment complex Monday looking for food.
The toddlers indicated to authorities their parents were inside, dead.
The children are now with their grandmother.
So far, police say it appears the man killed the woman before he killed himself.
They both had been dead for around 24 hours when the children were found.
An investigation is ongoing.
