BURKESVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - The Cumberland County High School Civics Club continues to give back to communities.

While Kentucky has been hit hard with tornadoes, flooding, thunderstorms, and more, people like club members have been stepping up to lend their neighbors a helping hand.

Within hours after the storms hit Pulaski, Russell, and Laurel Counties, club members gathered supplies and funds for those affected areas.

Along with the club, Cumberland County Coroner Gary White and County EM Director Greg Cary went to area neighbors in need and provided years of experience and boots-on-the-ground support.
