Loudon County responders find second missing teen’s body
Three teens were connected to the incident, which started with a car chase that ended in Loudon County Wednesday.
LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - After five days of searching, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office officials said Sunday afternoon that the second of two missing teens has been found dead in the Tennessee River.
Three teens were connected to the incident, which started with a car chase that ended in Loudon County Wednesday. LCSO officials said the three teens jumped off a bridge near Lake Drive, and only one surfaced.

It prompted a search, led by LCSO but involving several other agencies. The first body was found Friday.

“This is another devastating loss, and our hearts are with those who are grieving,“ LCSO said. ”The impact of this tragedy is being felt deeply across multiple communities.”
In a later update, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officials said they had used an underwater, remote-controlled vehicle to locate the body, which crews then retrieved.
The third teen is in police custody.
