NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating a crash that ended with two vehicles overturned on Broadway, two drivers in the hospital, and questions about why the passengers in one vehicle fled the scene.

The crash occurred just after 3 a.m. on Friday on Broadway and 13th Avenue South. Officers at the scene reported that the driver of an SUV may have driven through a red light and collided with a taxi minivan. Both vehicles came to rest upside down on the road.
