NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: The Metro Nashville Police Department has announced the arrest of the third and final suspect in Monday’s murder of 22-year-old Ahmed Amran on Nolensville Pike.

Abanoub Awed, 21 is being held without bond on charges of homicide and three counts of attempted homicide following his Thursday arrest.

Earlier: The investigation into the deadly shooting that ended with three young men crashing their vehicle into a business in Woodbine has produced two arrests on Tuesday night.

The Metro Nashville Police Department announced the arrests of 22-year-old Mohammed Al Rabiey and 23-year-old Sadiq Al-Sahaf. Both men were identified as the two suspects responsible for opening fire at a vehicle leaving Nashville Hookah in the early morning hours of Monday, February 24. The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Ahmed Amran, was shot and crashed into a law office on Nolensville Pike and Woodbine Street.

The investigation into the deadly shooting that ended with three young men crashing their vehicle into a business in Woodbine has produced two arrests.

Amran was found dead behind the wheel, and the other two passengers were in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Detectives found surveillance footage showing Al Rabiey and Al-Sahaf at the hookah bar the night of the shooting, according to an arrest affidavit. They are seen tracking the victims from inside the bar to their vehicle, and the affidavit states Al Rabiey retrieved an “AK-style” pistol from his vehicle and opened fire as the victims drove by.

After the victims’ vehicle crashed into the business, security cameras showed Al-Rabiey and his accomplice driving away from the scene, according to the report. Bullet casings at the scene were consistent with the pistol in the footage, as were the deceased victim’s wounds at the hospital, the affidavit states.

Al Rabiey and Al-Sahaf were arrested on Tuesday night. Al Rabiey confirmed to detectives he was the person in the security photos from the scene on the night of the shooting, according to an affidavit.

Both men are charged with one count of criminal homicide, and three counts of attempted criminal homicide and are being held without bond.
