MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man wanted in multiple Tennessee counties was arrested in a stolen vehicle in Mt. Juliet by way of the police department’s license plate reader system.

MJPD reports that their LPR system alerted officers to a truck with a stolen license plate near North Mt. Juliet Road and Charlie Daniels Parkway.

Officers were able to intercept the vehicle and found that the truck was stolen and the driver was wanted. Below is a look at the breakdown of the arrest per MJPD:

  • The stolen plate was reported out of Murfreesboro on 12/11.
  • The stolen truck was reported on 11/8, also out of Murfreesboro.
  • The driver, a 36-year-old man from Rockvale, was wanted for theft (Rutherford County) and a probation violation (Bedford County).
  • He was also driving on a revoked license.

MJPD said their investigation also revealed that the suspect was also wanted out of Warren County for theft and was known to be involved in thefts of trailers, trucks and construction excavators across several Midstate counties.
