Woman dies in single-vehicle rollover crash in Nashville
The woman’s passenger was not seriously injured, according to police.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday night, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Police said 32-year-old Skylar Scott, of Whites Creek, was involved in a wreck in the 4900 block of Clarksville Highway.
According to police, Scott was driving north on Clarksville Highway when she lost control of her SUV and drove off the road into an embankment.
The vehicle rolled over several times and police said Scott was ejected from her car.
Her passenger, who was not seriously injured, reportedly asked her to slow down before the crash.
Scott was taken to Skyline Medical Center where she died.
Police said a toxicology testing will be conducted to determine whether impairment was a factor.
Both Scott and her passenger were not wearing seatbelts.
