3 arrested after brief pursuit in stolen vehicle in Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - Officers with the Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) arrested three people following a brief pursuit in a stolen vehicle from Kentucky.
MPD’s Real Time Crime Center License Plate Reader cameras alerted officers of a stolen truck in the area on Monday afternoon.
Officers spotted a Chevy Silverado that was reportedly stolen in Kentucky. The truck sped away from officers near Lytle and Middle Tennessee Boulevard after an attempted traffic stop.
The driver was seen nearly hitting other motorists and driving through a parking lot before stopping with a flat tire near Sanbyrn Hall Condos. Two men from Kentucky and a woman from Christiana were arrested following a brief foot chase.
“The three are facing stolen vehicle and evading arrest charges,” MPD said.
