Avoid burning, secure outdoor furniture as strong winds move into Middle Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Nolensville has issued a burn ban as the National Weather Service in Nashville reports elevated fire danger conditions on Monday.

The WSMV4 First Alert Weather team says strong winds are moving into Middle Tennessee on Monday and will stick around until Tuesday morning.

Sustained wind speeds will reach up to 20-30 mph with gusts as high as 40-50 mph at times.

Be sure to secure any loose objects around your home and stay weather aware. Wind gusts could cause downed tree limbs and isolated power outages in some areas.
