NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Three shootings took place Monday night in several areas across Nashville.

The first shooting happened at 7:22 p.m. Monday evening.

A woman was taken to Vanderbilt with serious injuries after she was shot at least twice at an auto body garage, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department

Police said the 28-year-old woman was shot at by an unknown person who may have been driving a dark-colored sedan.

Officials said they do not know why the shooting happened or what started it.

Police recovered one gun on the premises and another gun inside one of the vehicles.

There were two other shootings on Monday night.

Earlier at the corner of Ed Temple and Clarksville Pike, a car was shot at. Inside the car was a mother with her kids. Officials said they were not injured, however, after the car was shot, the vehicle then t-boned an SUV.

The SUV crashed into a fire hydrant sending water pouring into the road. One person in the SUV was taken to a local hospital with injuries and is expected to be ok.

The other shooting happened at 3206 Sennadale Lane. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials at the scene told WSMV that the shootings did not appear to be related.
