Salted Bourbon Pecan Pie

4 eggs3 cups brown sugar2 oz melted butter1 tsp vanilla extract2 cups whole pecans5 tbsp bourbon1 tbsp cornstarch

-Preheat your oven to 350-Toss your pecans in a bowl of 2 tbsp of bourbon and 2 tsp coarse sea salt, set aside.-Beat your eggs before adding any other ingredients-Break up your brown sugar with your fingers and add to egg mixture while gently folding, never beating.-Fold in remaining ingredients, including the remaining 3 tbsp of bourbon-Pour mixture into prepared pie crust or tart pan.-Arrange whole pecans evenly and carefully and sprinkle salt over the top-Bake for 40 minutes on middle oven rack-Let cool at least 2 hours or overnight before cutting
