Nashville Predators GM David Poile will be inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame.
Poile will be joining Gordon “Red” Berenson, Natalie Darwitz, Leland “Hago” Harrington and Paul Stewart in this year's inductee class.
With 1,320 victories, Poile became the winningest GM in NHL history during the 2017-2018 season with the Preds.
Poile is entering his 37th consecutive season as a GM. He has spent 21 seasons with the Predators and spent 15 with the Washington Capitals.
In 2014, Poile served as the GM of the 2014 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team.
Poile has helped lead the Predators to the playoffs for four straight seasons.
An induction celebration will be held at the JW Marriott in Nashville on Dec. 12. Tickets for the event will go on sale Aug. 13 at USHockeyHallofFame.com.
