Hello everyone! What a privilege to be invited into your homes weekday mornings. Thanks for making News4 Nashville part of your morning routine. As we say every day, we’re Working 4 You, to bring you the information you need to know before you head out the door each morning.
A little about me… I came to Nashville with my beautiful wife and two young kiddos in 2016. Our interest in Music City started with a trip to CMA Fest five years prior. We fell in love with Middle Tennessee and decided this would be a great place to raise our children.
I grew up just outside Denver, Colorado and spent my childhood skiing, snowboarding and fly-fishing in the Rockies. Some of my family still lives there and we love to visit the homeland. Now, you’ll find me on most weekends, bass fishing with my son, or catching critters in a backwoods Tennessee river somewhere.
I spent more than ten years of my broadcasting career as a sports anchor in Colorado, Southern California and Seattle, before making the switch to news anchor in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I worked as an anchor/reporter for KUTV.
I’ve been on the front lines of wildfires, reported live from the scene of tragic and deadly flooding, I’ve been in the middle of the action during election nights, hosted political debates and have sat down face-to-face with major influencers and policy-makers… oh, and I once won an Emmy Award for letting a photographer take pictures of me while he was naked.
I’m in this business because of a natural curiosity, a desire to seek the truth and the belief that everything should be questioned.
I’ll see you M-F mornings, 4-7am on NBC Nashville.
