Good Morning Nashville & Middle Tennessee!

My face may be one of the first you see each morning! I’m the morning show anchor for News 4 Today, weekday mornings from 4-7am. When you’re up that early, you likely have places to go and things to do… which is why I’m working to bring you the latest, most relevant news without wasting your time. I find this works best with a smile and a cup of coffee (I prefer iced).

I grew up in Denver, CO, and have lived out west for most of my life and career. Since we’ve been here, I’ve learned to catch smallmouth bass and catfish with my flyrod and I’ve traded my snowboard for a canoe. I love world travel, wildlife and spending time with my family.

My wife and I came to Nashville in 2012 for CMA Fest and left feeling like we’d be back. At the time, I was a sports anchor for KOMO in Seattle. Months later I left behind a decade of sportscasting experience to become a news anchor for KUTV in Salt Lake City.

We always had an eye on Nashville. After two babies and some long discussions about where we’d like to raise our kiddos, here we are, Home! The good people of Middle Tennessee have made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

It’s important to me to know what’s going on in our world and in our community. I have a curious mind and I enjoy finding answers to questions. Passing information along to you is a responsibility that I take seriously. It’s an honor to bring you the news. See you in the morning!
