LEBANON, TN (WSMV) - Young Road in Wilson County is totally shut down while multiple law enforcement agencies execute a search warrant on the 800 block of the street.

Police say the suspect, identified as 68-year-old Phillip Wayne Foster, has threatened "multiple public servants and private citizens in the Middle TN area over a period of time."

Foster reportedly sent letters to multiple elected officials, including judges and sheriffs. Private citizens and businesses were also targeted. The letters include bomb threats and threats to send chemicals.

Foster was taken into custody Wednesday. He is facing charges for four counts of harassment, three counts of filing a false report and one charge of "distribution of any substance as an act of terrorism or as a hoax," according to the Wilson County Sheriff's Office.

The Wilson County Sheriff's Office said crews are working to clear Foster's residence of any possible explosives.

Young Road is off Sparta Pike, south east of Lebanon.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
