(CNN/Meredith) -- Michigan Police said Tuesday morning that the missing 2-year-old girl, Gabriella Vitale, has been found alive. Police said she walked up to a home about a half-mile from where she was last seen.

Gabriella Vitale's family lost track of her as they were packing up their campsite in Comins Township, Michigan, according to a news release from the Oscoda County Sheriff's Office. She was first reported missing Monday morning.

Her family is from the Monroe area and had been camping off Reber Road since last week, the release said.
