MNPD's Juvenile Crime Task Force arrested two teenagers Wednesday night for the death of an innocent 55-year-old woman.

Police say Beverly Hicks was in bed at her Calais Circle home on June 11th when bullets flew through the window, injuring her. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She died from complications with her injuries July 10.

On Wednesday, officers arrested a 16 and 17-year-old teen for the shooting death. They are being charged with criminal homicide.

Three days before the shooting, the same two suspects robbed and shot Hicks' nephew. Police believe the shots fired at Hicks' home was a continuation of the dispute between the suspects and Hicks' nephew.
