NASHVILLE (WSMV) - An investigation by Metro Nashville Police, DEA and TBI resulted in a drug bust of 5.5 pounds of cocaine.

Investigators seized approximately $100,000 worth of cocaine, and found more than $150,000 in cash inside a motel room on Wallace Road in South Nashville.

Javier Calderon-Garcia, 26, and Jorge Nieves-Sanchez, 53, were arrested and charged with possessing cocaine for resale. They are being held on $100,000 bond each.

Police say they believe the cocaine originated from Mexico.
