A tour bus carrying band members and equipment for country music singer Toby Keith caught fire early Monday along Interstate 65 in Boone County, IN.

Authorities said the tour bus was traveling in a caravan with other vehicles when the driver noticed the fire.

The driver spotted flames and was able to coast the bus into an emergency lane after the vehicle lost power.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and it took nearly a half hour to put out the flames.

The convoy of buses was carrying backup singers, guitar technicians and other members of Keith's tour group.

No one was injured in the fire and Toby Keith was not on board the bus.

They were headed from Chicago to Nashville.

Several lanes were blocked along I-65 as firefighters worked to put out the flames.

Damage to the tour bus is estimated at $250,000 but could increase depending on the value of items that were inside the bus.
