ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A 33-year-old Tennessee man will serve more than 10 years in a federal prison for sending sexually explicit images of children to an email account in Alaska.

The U.S. attorney's office says Matthew Bren Goodlett of Knoxville was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage to 126 months. He was convicted of 2 counts of distributing sexually explicit images.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Audrey J. Renschen says in a statement that more than 3,500 images and 150 videos of child sexual exploitation were involved. Some images included children under the age of 12.
