The Goodwill facility in Berry Hill resumed operations just before 2 p.m. on Friday after it was evacuated when a suspicious package was found in the store.

Police say the bomb squad was called after a customer discovered what they thought to be sticks of dynamite wrapped up with a timer device.

The Nashville Fire Department also investigated the bomb threat.

Goodwill, as well as the Post Office next door, were evacuated during the investigation, and train traffic in the area was also halted on the tracks that run behind the facility.
