Franklin police said two suspects involved in a shooting on Rucker Avenue late Friday night have been arrested while another suspect remains at large.
Police said Antonio Whitsey, 28, of Franklin, surrendered on Saturday night on charges of assault. He is free on a $2,500 bond. Whitsey, a convicted felon, has a Feb. 12 court date.
Police identified Johnny Cameron, 27, of Franklin, as the shooter.
Cameron eluded police after the initial incident when he abandoned his car and fled on foot. Officers and detectives found Cameron later Saturday morning and arrested him after a brief foot pursuit.
Cameron was charged with attempted criminal homicide and is being held on $103,000 bond.
Police said Cameron is a convicted felon with a history of drug and weapon charges.
Timothy Harris, the remaining suspect, is wanted for facilitation of a felony. Police said Harris handed the shooter his gun, which was used to shoot the victim.
