The TBI says a man wanted in connection with a murder in Spring Hill has been arrested.

James Rush Huddleston, 34, was taken into custody in Omaha, AR, early Friday morning.

He is charged with criminal homicide in after a man's death on Oct. 29.

The victim, 35-year-old Phillip Pero, was found dead in the garage of a home on Iroquois Drive. He had one gunshot wound. The weapon, a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson firearm, was found nearby.

People who were inside the house during the shooting told police that they heard Huddleston talk about shooting Pero. They also said they saw Huddleston leaving the home after the shooting.

Huddleston was on the TBI's Top 10 Most Wanted list. He is being held at the Boone County Jail awaiting extradition to Tennessee.
