New details keep surfacing in the Steve McNair murder case.

The former Tennessee Titans quarterback was involved with another woman other than Sahel Kazemi, or Jenni, the woman police said killed McNair and then turned the gun on herself. For the first time, the other woman is telling her side of the story.

"I want to know how you found out about me, because I like to keep myself secret," said Leah Ignagni on the night of July 6, when two Metro police detectives showed up to interview her.

The 25-year-old wanted to keep her relationship with McNair out of the spotlight following his July 4 murder. Police said McNair died at the hands of Kazemi.

Ignagni told detectives, "I will say that Steve and I got pretty, um ... He got pretty serious with me, as in serious texts on those nights and stuff. He thought that I was going to like break up with him and stuff throughout last week, so he would just show up at my house a lot."

In the tapes Channel 4 obtained from police, Ignagni can't be seen but is heard talking candidly about her relationship with McNair. She describes how she and McNair were supposed to meet up July 2, but McNair didn't call until early the next morning.

"He came through until about 6, and he had just told me that the cook at his restaurant's car was stolen and that a good friend of his named Jenni got a DUI," she said.

That was the first and only time Ignani said she'd ever heard Kazemi's name.

"I remember asking him, he said he was getting her out of jail, and I remember asking him, 'Why would she call you?' and he said because he had connections," she said.

Kazemi's family said McNair told her that he and his wife, Mechelle, were going through a divorce. McNair apparently told Ignagni the same story.

"He said that he loved me and that he was going to make everything work so that he could be with me and he had some things to handle and to wait for him," Ignangi said.

Ignangi told detectives after the taped interview was over that she recalled a woman in a black Cadillac Escalade following her home one night after she left McNair's condo.
