Madison Precinct detectives are working to identify the two masked accomplices who accompanied shooting suspect Kenneth Jernigan during an aggravated robbery at Burger King on Monday night that left a man critically injured.

Police said three masked persons, at least two of them armed, entered the Burger King through the rear door. Jernigan, 18, was in the lead.

Police believe Jernigan was fatally wounded as he was tackled by and struggled with Farris, who was wounded by the gunfire and is in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

After the incident, the other two masked suspects fled the scene in a small, white SUV.

Police have released still images of the masked suspects and their getaway car, captured from surveillance footage

They ask anyone with information on the suspects to call Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.
